What is the method for high temperature surface treatment of silica?

  The high temperature treatment of the surface is to heat the precipitated silica to a high temperature heat treatment to remove some molecules adsorbed on the surface of the white carbon black,namely water and other low molecular weight adsorbates.As a result of this,the partial vulcanization characteristics can be improved,but the effect is not significant.Surface chemical treatment is the reaction of some chemical reagents with the surface silanol groups of silica to improve the affinity and reactivity of silica with polymer compounds.There are many reagents that can chemically treat the surface of white carbon black,and there are various methods for chemical treatment.There are many documents and patents on this aspect,and the following is part of the introduction.


  The specific methods used are:


  (1)Steam method:direct contact of dry white carbon black with steam of organic matter to generate a desired reaction;


  (2)reflux method:boil the white carbon black together with the reaction liquid to reflux,and the desired reaction occurs;


  (3)Autothermal reaction method:The white carbon black is subjected to hot pressing treatment in an autoclave together with the reaction liquid to cause a specified reaction to occur.The specific chemical reactions used are:as the hydration increases,the isolated silanol groups gradually decrease,while the ortho-type silanol groups gradually increase.The ortho-type silanol group has a strong adsorption capacity for water and polar substances.
